Compass was Great
When we arrived at condo cleaning lady came back to take photo of a cabinet that neeeded fixing,we told her the toilet was not flushing right.We told her the place was very clean inside. She said she would report it, but it would most likely be Monday tell they come out. We went in on Monday and Megan had the handyman already on his way and the plumber. Compass realty was great. Who ever owns the condo really needs to do some up keep on the place. Doors are rotting away afraid to open bedroom patio doors for fear the glass would break. This was our 3rd stay at Shady Nook and last, but not with compass realty. Can't beat the location though.We had a great time.

SHADY NOOK at The Truman Annex in Key West
Only thing that we could request be different is the pick up of the key and the returning of the keys! It definitely adds a bit of a wrench in the plans when you have a little one and a ton of luggage to go back to the office the day of checkout! Other than that the staff was super helpful with anything we needed, early check in, late check out both granted, easy communication, and the location of this one can’t be beat — street access from the back gate!

Can't wait to go back!
Totally enjoyed our weeks stay at the Shady Nook. Had all the conveniences of home and more. Really enjoyed our private entrance into our backyard patio too. I had been a bit nervous that being so close to the road might be noisy or we would feel less secure but that was no problem at all. If I had to think of something to make it even better would be to add more mirrors as there only mirrors in the bathroom - we were a group of 3 women so more mirrors would have been more convenient for getting ready for the day. Everything was in good working order and nicely decorated. I do just want to let folks know that if you have to reset the wifi the wifi box is in the bedroom with the queen bed. We got confused as we thought it was the box connected to the main tv in the living room but then again we are not all that tech savvy.All in all this was a 5 star vacation!

Great week
Our stay was very good. When we arrived we were told the unit we reserved had lost its a/c so we were put in another unit which turned out to bean even better experience. The unit, in the “Shipyard” section was a reasonable walk to everything. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the unit. Staying at these condominiums is like being at home, almost. You are able to cook if you wish and pack less because you have laundry facilities in the unit. This is now our go to place in Key West.

New Year in The Keys
The condo was in the perfect place and easy access to DuVal! We spent time at the pool, which was wonderful. The condo had everything that was needed during our stay.We were there from the 28th until the 4th of January. New Years in Key West is the way to go!

SHADY NOOK in the Truman Annex
This is the second time we have stayed in the Shipyard Condos. This one was a great area in the complex. Able to walk out of the gate instead of walking through the complex. We would stay here again.

Great spot in walkable location!
This unit was very nice and conveniently located. It is easily accessed through the back gate. When we arrived, it was already dark and it took us a while to both get into the fenced in area to get the keys then figure out which unit was ours (It's near the very front but tucked away a bit.). Loved that it had a washer/dryer and dishwasher. The shower door needs some help, it seems to be falling apart a bit, and water leaks out, but still functional. We had a late flight out and the management company graciously allowed us to stay a few more hours which I appreciated so much. Great place, highly recommend.

Perfect Location
This rental first and foremost is in a great location. Accessible from Thomas St via the back patio gate was a great added perk. The kitchen had everything we needed. And the unit had some nice extras like laundry detergent and beach chairs. The beds were comfortable, the sleeper sofa adequate. The only thing I’d recommend would be mirrors for bedrooms. When you put 5 people in this unit, the bathroom gets busy and having mirrors and maybe even a vanity in the bedrooms would really be useful!

Shady Nook @ the Truman Annex
Our stay at Shady Nook @ Truman Annex was excellent. Shady Nook is an end unit, which gave us extra window space on the side, letting in lots of Florida sunshine. Like everything in Truman Annex, the location couldn't be better-very quiet but a quick walk to everything. We discovered Fausto's grocery store about three blocks away, so eating at home was easy. Of course, this didn't happen often because of all the great restaurants close by! The property managers at Compass Realty were very helpful and accommodating both before and during our trip. Truly an excellent experience, start to finish.

Excellent vacation!
This unit is in a great location in Key West. Walking distance to everything you could want. Clean and well stocked. The only things I would recommend are an extra mirror outside the bathroom and putting a key box on the unit itself. Having to get the keys from that far down the road with luggage is not easy!

I've stayed in this unit several times its location and easy access to Thomas St are a plus. COVID may have something to do with it but I found there were less "leftovers" than previous visits. (Trash bags, paper products and the such). weathered TS Elsa with no issues.

Management company went above and beyond!
We had a very positive experience with the vacation home. The unit we reserved was as described and in a wonderful and mavelously convenient area. We walked to just about EVERYTHING! We had no need to drive. The grounds are stunning! A two ladies traveling we felt very safe and secure. Unfortunately, the unit above ours had plumbing issues which required us to be relocated. The management company went above and beyond compensating us by upgrading us to better units with better amenities. Sure it was an unforseen inconvenience but the staff made the moves almost effortless. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this and other units in this area.

Loved it
The community is safe, beautiful and super convenient. We walked everywhere. The unit was as described but due to unforseen circumstances we had to change units. Management went above and beyond to accommodate us. Would love to stay here again.

Good. Upstairs unit occupants were very noisy. They were stomping throughout the day, and appeared to have some sort of construction project underway.
